OpenPharmacyKorea is for travellers who need a pharmacy but cannot read Korean signs or search in Korean. It covers the registered pharmacies across Korea and shows which ones should be open right now, with an English name next to the Korean one.
Share your location or pick an area such as Myeongdong or Hongdae. Green markers are open now, grey ones are closed and dashed ones have no registered hours. Each pharmacy page has the Korean name and address to show a taxi driver, and short Korean phrases to show the pharmacist.
Locations and opening hours come from Korea’s public pharmacy registry on the public data portal (data.go.kr), which we download again every day. Whether a pharmacy is open is worked out in your browser from those registered hours.
Registered hours are not a promise: a pharmacy may close for lunch, a holiday or another reason. Please call before making a long trip. In a medical emergency, call 119.
